The Hobie H-Rail with Scotty Gear-Head Adapter allows you to mount Scotty rod holders and accessories to your Hobie H-Rail. The Scotty Gear-Head lets you quickly change rod holder positions with a simple twist. You can use your favorite, fully adjustable Scotty rod holder and adjust it to any vertical or horizontal position without having to drill permanent mounting holes. It clamps to the 12-sided H-Rail without any drilling or tools needed. When the clamp is secured, the mount does not twist or slide along the rail. Loosening the clamp allows you to remove the accessory or slide it along the length of the rail.
