We strive to be both knowledgeable and approachable, because we love sharing our passion with like-minded people. Because of this, we’re on the water testing gear all the time; it’s a ‘tough job’ but someone has to do it. You’ll find the same staff at Sail and Ski year after year. The reason? Charlie Belissary

Specialties: Hobie Cats, Snow SkiingOriginally from the small farm town of Darlington S.C. Charlie attended Lees-McCrae College and earned a degree in Business. Charlie establised The Sailing And Ski Connection in 1986. Charlie’s has extensive knowledge in Hobie Cat sailing and snow sking. What started out as just a small shack for Hobie Sailboat parts, has grown into a Myrtle Beach staple for outdoor activities. Also known as “Hobie One Kanobe” Charlie will be sure to take care of any of your needs on all the products we carry. Charlie is married to Katie, they have two children. Be sure to to come in and ask for Charlie and he will be happy to share some of his southern Greek hospitality.
Norris Buck

Specialties: Kayaking, Hobie Cats, Thule
Spending most of his life in the midwest, Norris has brought his long extensive background of customer service to the Sail and Ski Connection. Graduating from Depaul University with a degree in Business Management, Norris has brought a high level of proffesionalism and integrity to the store. As president of the Long Bay Paddlers club, Norris is responsible for organizing several kayak trips and adventures. He also is the Tour Guide/Instructor for all kayak tours at Sail and Ski . Any day Norris is not in the store, you can find him on the water.
